War displaced 300 thousand people in Saada

Saada Governor Taha Hajar said on Tuesday that the number of the displaced people reached 300,000 people in the different camps. During the meeting of the coordination council of the humanitarian organizations in Saada, Hajar affirmed that the displaced need full care by providing their needs and reducing their suffering.He urged to double efforts to make a data base on the displaced and their conditions and areas, so that they can receive aid from the organizations, stressing the importance of organizing the relief process and presenting aid and medical and educational services to the displaced.In meeting, the attendants discussed a report submitted by director general of the social affairs in the province on the cases of disease amid children which their number amounts to 6,147 in the Saada camps and the percentages of cases of fear, violence, and neglect, poor, disabled and illiterate.In addition to, the general director of the Social Welfare Fund reviewed the process of surveying and counting 12 thousands displaced families who are outside the camps as well as the difficulties faced by the survey particularly the lack of identity documents of a number of displaced people.The attendants stressed the need to hold accountable any organization or association working outside of the coordination council.
