The cabinet discussed in its meeting on Wednesday presided over by Acting Prime Minister, Minster of Electricity and Energy Abdullah al-Akwa' latest developments in the national arena and efforts for normalizing situations, led by security. The cabinet listened to a report from the Minister of Defense on the latest developments in the capital Sana'a, noting to efforts exerted for deployment of police and security forces in different areas of Sana'a. The minister confirmed that orders in the capital are returning gradually to their normality.
The Council of Ministers listened to a report from the Minister of Health on measures and humanitarian efforts exerted by medical teams during the recent incidents. He made it clear that 460 cases of injured people are receiving treatment and health care, adding that 270 bodies of the killed military personnel and civilians were taken from streets.
While the Minister of Civil Service and Insurances clarified that that employees are conducting their work normally and there are field campaigns for monitoring the attendance of the employees, Minister of Education confirmed that education process is going well across the country and the study in Sana'a will resume on Monday. Minister of Education noted that the damaged schools will be repaired after sending a team to evaluate the damage and reporting on it.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce confirmed in his report presented to the council the stability of good supply in the capital Sana'a and all governorates, confirming that crises in food and supply items have not been reported.
The cabinet issued directives to the security and police forces to perform their usual duties in providing services to the society and strongly argued defense and interior ministries to perform their duties to secure ground, air and marine outlets to ensure that the services in these bodies are performing their duties as demanded.
