Held today in the city of Mukalla , a workshop on the fisheries sector in the governorate and the difficulties that it faces and ways to address them.
The workshop discussed organized by the Coordination Committee of public, private cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Hadramout and the General Authority for Fisheries fish of the Arabian Sea .Also, the Federation of Cooperatives of fish with the support of project development of the private sector of the Organization for L,A,Z, the number of working papers submitted by the parties and researchers in the field of fisheries.
In the opening conservative Undersecretary Ahmad Junaid Junaid ,stressed on the importance of the fisheries sector as one of the pillars of the national economy, pointing out that Hadramout has long sea coast where there are types and large quantities of fish quality world and employs approximately 26 thousand fisherman.
He pointed out that the Fisheries inexhaustible wealth and everyone must maintain .. calling on the relevant authorities to the need to activate the role of censorship in places to fish to reduce the indiscriminate fishing to ensure that this resource is not wasted.
As speeches of Prime Fish Commission and Agriculture Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hadramout Saeed Saleh Alomqi . And acting director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hadramout Osan Mohammed Bahasien , Project Coordinator of the private sector the GTZ Hadramout Hanan Bahamid reviewed the objectives of the workshop on the development of solutions for the development of the fisheries sector and promotion through the development of mechanisms of coordination and cooperation between all parties to serve and development of the sector.
And stressed the need to come up with recommendations and translate them on the ground and teamwork which would promote this vital sector.
