Yemen to partake in Arab Mineral Resources Conference in Khartoum

Yemen is to partake in the 12th Arab Conference for Mineral Resources to be held in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, during (November 27-29). As he left Sanaa on Monday, Undersecretary of Ministry of Oil and Minerals Engineer Abdul Malik Alama told Saba that the delegation will present ,during the conference organized by the Arab Organization for Industrial Development and Mining of the Arab League in cooperation with the Sudanese Ministry of Minerals, scientific papers relating to investment opportunities in the mining sector in Yemen.
Yemen will also participate in a pavilion in the exhibition accompanying the conference with samples of Yemeni different metals, in addition to promotional brochures on investment in this promising sector in Yemen, Alama added.
He pointed out that the delegation will participate on the sidelines of the conference in the fourth consultative meeting of Arab Ministers of mineral wealth, which will discuss the mining strategy in the Arab world and ways to develop laws and legislations relating to the mining sector.
