Began in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates today to the World Summit on Energy in the Gulf and the Middle East with the participation of high-level representatives from the Ministry of Electricity and Water of the Kingdom of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Korea, Japan , China, Australia, India and Europe, in addition to 31 speakers from energy experts from various international energy companies.
The conference will take three -days , will discuss the strategies of electricity and water sector and the challenges facing the energy industry, in addition to the opportunities available to develop the growth of energy sources in the Gulf and the Middle East to support the national economies in the light of the increasing demand for energy and water.
The conference will also discuss opportunities for investment cooperation between governments in the Middle East and the private sector in the field of power generation, and the importance of these partnerships in the promotion of sustainable development in the long term in the Middle East , and encourage the rational planning of resources vital for years to come, where they will be bidding for a number of ongoing projects and projects that have been completed recently in the Middle East in the field of electric power generation and water desalination .
