Director Education Jamal Salem Abdoun today morning announced the final outcome of basic education General certificate Examaination result for the academic year 2011-2012.
Mukalla today website was in contact with Mr. Jamal Salem Abdoun to know exactly the final results for the basic level for schools within the coastal disricts as well as the provincial ones.The duyrectoe responded graciously to the request made by Mukalla today and made a detailed statement in which he announced the names of the top ten students at the level of the province in addition to schools pass rate and the number of applicants who sat for the examination as well pass s rates in eachof Hadhramaut Coastal district of Hadramout .:
The results for this year basic school General certificate examination for the year2011-2012 as approved by the General result of the Ministry of Education for Academic year 2011-2012 is as follows:
Number of students applied to sit for examination were 10420 students including 6207 males and 4213 females.
Those students sat for the examination were 10301 students of whom 6137 males and 4164 females.
Those students missed the examination were 119 students, including 70 males and 49 females.
Number of students who faile in the examination were 284 students of whom 238 male and 46 female.
The number of students who passed the examination were 10017 students of whom 5899 males and 4118 females.
The overall provincia pass rate was 97%
