The Minister of Education, Dr. Abdul Razzaq al-Ashwal told Yemen News Agency (SABA) that the pass rate for General Certificate of Education examinations for Basic Education for the academic year 2011l 2012 is 80 t 84 percent .. He Indicated that the total number of students applied to sit for examaination reached 311 714 students, while only 297,149 students sat for the examination and 14,565 students missed it. The number of students who passed the examinations are 251, 989, while those failed are 45,160 students ..
