President delivers speech at OIC’s extraordinary summit

President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi delivered on Wednesday night a speech at the closing session of the extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was held over two days in Mecca.
In his speech, President Hadi touched upon the political, security and economic crisis ,which has been passed by Yemen ,as well as the people’s movement towards change. Hadi pointed that the Gulf initiative has set Yemen aside the horrors of the civil war, noting that all Yemeni parties have presented big concessions to reach the national consensus and to pave the way for the comprehensive national dialogue. President Hadi indicated that the events in the Arab springs countries have led to turning attention from major Arab and Islamic issues ,topped by the Arab-Israeli conflict, the genocide crimes committed against muslims in other countries and encouraging the sectarian and religious strifes at the level of each country. He called on Syrians to stop violence in all its forms and to restore to dialogue to save Syria from the destruction, confirming that Yemen will be with any decision agreed upon on Syria.Concluding his speech, President Hadi valued the initiative of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for the formation of a dialogue center between religions and sects for further cooperation between peoples
