Al-Ban criticizes western attitude to killings in Gaza

Minister of Human Rights has slammed the unfair attitude of western governments towards the condition in Gaza, saying they are applying a double standard regarding human rights principles.
Huda al-Ban said western governments are blaming Hamas while the Israeli military is committing all illegal crimes under self-defense pretexts.
At the end of a program aimed at preparing national trainers in the field of international law and human rights, al-Ban said the US along with many European states are applying the double-standard policy in the region, particularly in Gaza.
This partiality to the Zionist side is apparent through the western attitude to recent killings in the strip claiming the lives of children, women and innocents.
With such western attitude, human rights principles and accords remain ineffective as they are only dedicated to protect the rights of special nations and groups.
