Farmers of Tarim and Saah concluded their training course in wheat cultivation
The training ended in Tarim city and it was on cultivation of wheat. It was organized by the Centre for Agricultural Training Seiyoun and funded by project to rebuild early living in the governorates of Hadhramout and Al-Mahra. The project falls under the UNDP of the United Nations. The course was attended by 27 farmers from Tarim, Saah and Al-saum Districts. It lasted for two days whereby the participants were lectured issues related to the economic importance of wheat crop and the varieties of wheat that are cultivated in Wadi Hadhramout as well as means to reduce costs and get a better return. Also lectures on post-harvest operations, storage, methods of packaging, marketing and wheat pests
