President Hadi presides over government meeting

President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi said Saturday that the National Reconciliation Government has to deal with critical several tasks, stressing that excuses are not accepted.
"We have major tasks to address issues hindered development, particularly after the crisis's outbreak early last year. There will be reform system to eliminate corruption and infringements in order to establish justice and settle grievances wherever they are," Hadi said as chairing a meeting with government.The president said that the first stage of the Gulf initiative was accomplished, adding that the unfinished tasks would be tied up by the military affairs committee or other concerned bodies. The government's program is to implement the Gulf initiative accurately and genuinely until ending the Yemeni people's plight caused by the last year crisis, he said. Hadi urged the government to carry out reforms, saying "reform is an inevitable task that should be undertaken flawlessly … today we establish a truthful and objective method." He spoke of the national comprehensive conference, saying that it would include all partisan, political, cultural and economic segments of the society. He stressed that it would be transparent, credible and tolerant "without any reservation or red lines, but equality, social justice and a partnership in power and wealth." For his part, Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa accented that everyone will bear the responsibility, saying "We listened to your directions and assured you of our commitment to be implemented."He demanded each minister to work on decentralized basis and not to refer any issue to the highest authorities, except in very necessary cases.We have two years in order to reinstate law and order to Yemen, Basindwa said adding we have to prepare well for the national comprehensive conference to save the country from division.
