Center for Meteorology warned the public of a mass of air laden with dust during the next 48 hours.
The National Center for Meteorology has sent and Alert message today to the public and motorists in which it warned them of a mass of air laden with dust during the next 48 hours. It said that the the citizen should take the necessary precautions of a low visibility as a result of air mass laden with dustthat that will have a widespread effect during the next 48 hours. wheather Bulletin that it expected wheather during the next 48, a copy
of which was obtained byYemen News Agency (SABA). It called upon the
elderly, children and those who have chest diseases to be aware and
should not have contact or direct exposure to dust in order to preserve
their health, as well as those who deal with sensitive devices, to
take the necessary precautions of that phenomenon. Areas that are going
to be affected with such wheather are Deserts of provinces:- Marib,
Al Jawf, Saada, Amran - Sana'a - Hajjah - Al-Mahweet - Dhamar,
Al-baidhaa and with the possibility of being extended to parts of the
deserts in Hadhramout and Shabwa. The Center indicated that the air
mass comes from the center of the Arabian Peninsula accompanied by
northerly winds to northeasterly and with low temperatures.
