KSA, Egypt, China major importers for Yemeni fisheries

The Yemeni fisheries and sea livings export during nine months of
current year raised to $188 million, compared with $151 million in
2007. According to the Fishery Wealth Ministry report, the
grow of revenues during January to September is due to the rising of
amounts of exported fish to 84.5 thousand tons compared with 61.2 thousands tons for the same period of 2007. According
to the report, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is on the top of the list of
those countries who imported fishes from Yemen with a total amount of
$94.610 million, Egypt came in the second with $16.4 million and China
with $16 million.
