Yemen to take part in IADL conference in Paris

Yemen is to take part next Thursday in a conference called by the
International Association of Democratic Lawyers IADL which would be
held in Paris on the occasion of the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights 60th anniversary. The alsahwa-yemen.net reported that a
Yemeni delegation including 27 lawyers is about to head to the French
capital for the conference. The conference will discuss the
issue of " human rights are not divided economically , socially and
culturally, in addition to the issues of the right of peace and
development, the excellence of the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights and its main texts and their role in supporting human rights. The
International Association of Democratic Lawyers is a Non-Governmental
Organization (NGO) with consultative status to ECOSOC and UNESCO. It
was founded on October 24 1946 in Paris by gathering of lawyers who had
survived the war against fascism and participated in the Nuremberg
Trials.
