Yemen, Britain discuss aid to overcome crisis effects

Yemen and Britain discussed here on Tuesday the economic and development aid required to assist the country to overcome the crisis repercussions.
This came during a meeting brought together Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa and British outgoing ambassador to Yemen Jonathan Wilks on the occasion of ending his diplomatic term in Yemen.The British ambassador asserted that his country would continue his positive role supporting the security, stability and development of Yemen.Wilks pointed to the importance of Yemeni participation in the international conference on Somalia to be hosted by Britain on February 23 next year, saying Yemen is a real partner and has positive role in this regard.The Premier hailed the efforts of the United Kingdom alongside the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and the international community to help Yemen to overcome the crisis through achieving the political reconciliation and presenting the requisite support for the development in the country.
