30 investment licenses issued in Aden in 2008

Office of the General Investment Authority in Aden governorate issued
up to 30 investment licenses during the past ten months of 2008.
According
to statistics issued by the office in Aden, the cost of the licensed
projects is estimated at YR5.1 billion distributed over the industrial,
tourist, fisheries, health, education, services and residential
sectors.
The statistics showed that the industrial projects
came first out of the other projects with a total number of 12 projects
followed by health projects by 8 projects and then tourist projects by
3 projects.
These projects will create 977 work opportunities for Yemeni qualified workforce.
