Military committee continues to lift barricades from capital streets

The Military Affairs Committee continues Sunday to lift barricades and checkpoints erected during months-long political crisis in some streets of the capital Sana'a.
For the second day, the committee's field teams completed removing the sand berms and roadblocks from several streets under the supervision of members of the committee.
The committee inspected a number of government and private facilities, including Sabafon Company for Mobile Telephony, were evacuated Saturday from armed groups.
The Military Affairs Committee began Saturday removing all forms of armed manifestations from the capital's streets.The committee headed by Vice President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi was formed by a presidential decree in line with the Gulf Cooperation Council-brokered initiative and its executive mechanism signed in Riyadh on November 23.
