Yemen 2012 humanitarian appeal for relief is to be launched on Sunday, December 18, Minister of Public Health and Population said Saturday.
Upon his departure to UAE, Ahmed al-Ansi said that the appeal would be launched at a meeting of donors and United Nations (UN) organizations to be convened in Dubai.
The appeal contains a plan worth $437 million to cover the needs of over 400,000 Internally Displaced People (IDP) and the refugees existing in the country.
It has been prepared by the government in cooperation with the UN organizations working in Yemen, he added.
