An Italian company (SMI) specialized in miscellaneous manufacturing
factories intends to establish an optical fiber production factory with
annual capacity of (200 Mega) worth €300 million.
The company
and Aden Free Zone (AFZ) signed a MOU on Wednesday in Aden governorate
in this regard. According to the MOU, the AFZ to provide all necessary
facilities and data to support SMI establish the project in block (L)
on an area of 5 hectares.
Deputy head of Free Zones General
Authority and head of Aden Free Zone Abdul-Jalil al-Shuaibi and board
chairman of SMI signed the MOU.
