Japan's projects in Hadramout province reviewed

Hadramout governor reviewed on Wednesday with the Japanese ambassador
to Sana'a Masakazu Toshikage the Japanese projects in the areas of
water and health provided to Hadramout province. The governor
was briefed on to the objectives of the visit of the Japanese
ambassador to Hadramout and pointed out to the Japanese projects
including improvement of medical service in Ba Wazeir Hospital and
combating malaria in the coastal areas at the cost of 233 thousand
dollars. During the meeting, the governor praised efforts of the Japanese government to provide assistance for Yemen. For
his part, Japanese diplomat expressed his government's readiness to
continue support for such projects and contribute to providing relief
and reconstructing infrastructure in Hadramout province due to the
rains and floods. It is worth to mention that the Japanese government has funded over the past three years more than 64 small projects in Yemen within the framework of the Japanese program at total cost of $5.2 million.
