On Thursday, the General Authority of Civil
Aviation and Meteorology in the capital, Aden, granted an air carrier
operating certificate to Hadhramout Airlines, a subsidiary of the
Al-Busairi Group and owned by businessman Sheikh Abdullah Al-Busairi.
The license award ceremony was held at the
Authority's headquarters and attended by a number of aviation sector
officials. This comes as part of efforts to strengthen the country's air
transport sector and facilitate air travel.
Hadhramout Airlines
is expected to contribute to providing new air transport options and
supporting economic development in various governorates.
