President meets representatives of trade sector

President Ali Abdullah Saleh has met on Tuesday representatives of the trade sector and discussed with them a number of issues related to impact of ramifications of the current crisis on the economic situations, the trade activity and role of the trade sector in providing commodities and in reasonable prices in the way precluding exploitation of the crisis or monopolization of goods The businessmen and representatives of the trade sector expressed their firm stance in standing by the constitutional legitimacy and backing up its efforts for keeping security, stability, public and social peace. They have clarified that the trade sector is with the constitutional legitimacy and the peaceful transfer of power via ballot boxes , indicating to the serious damage that is inflicted on the sector of finance and businesses as a result of the crisis that was fabricated by the Joint Meeting Parties and those that allied with them, in addition to the sit-ins, strikes and demos rations and forcing some merchants to close down their trade shops as well as blocking roads that prevents transport their goods safely and that inflicted heavy losses on the tradesmen. The businessmen and representatives of the commercial sector have affirmed their standing with the state in its measures for imposing its prestige and respect of law and order. The President has welcomed the representatives of the trade sector and praised their stances and what they have expressed of national sense and high sense of responsibility especially under the current challenges and circumstances in the homeland. President Saleh has emphasised the role played by the trade sector in Yemen through working for providing gods with suitable prices and breaking any monopolization in this regard. The President also praised role of the trade sector in the construction and development procuress, pointing out that all remarks put forward by the trade sector would be taken into consideration in the way serving the national interest. He affirmed that the private sector will remain receiving all care and attention by the state to enable it perform its role in serving the national economy
