GCC initiative for Yemen to be signed in Sanaa

The signing of the initiative, launched by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for defusing political crisis in Yemen, will take place in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, said a source from the Yemeni caretaker government here Thursday "Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Aryani, Political Adviser of the Yemeni President, and Second Deputy of the Chairman of the Yemeni General People's Congress will sign the initiative on behalf of the ruling party and its allies, and it will also be signed by the command of the opposition Joint Meeting parties and their allies," the 26September weekly quoted the same source as saying.
The same source added that the initiative will be endorsed afterwards by Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, who chairs current session of GCC.
