Work continued on the first phase of Saah dity sewage project and its neighborhood areas. The project is being being financed by Local Development Financing Committee, work on the project first phase is approximately 25% completed. Included in project is the drilling of six pits each of 12 meters in depth, construction of twelve reservoir for filtering and analysis, forty inspection-room and extensions of water sewage network to a distance of 800 Meters..
The cost of the project is YR 11 million and funds coming from within the Local Development Committee of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals and Total Yemen. It will take six-month to implement the project, which began on twenty-fifth of March. It is worth mentioning that the implementation of this vital project will reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics caused by sewage exposour during the last period of intense proliferation of mosquito carrier of many infectious diseases..
