Draft law on creation of Yemeni Holding Company submitted to Parliament

The Caretaker Government approved on Tuesday to submit a draft law on the establishment of the Yemeni Holding Company for Development and Investment to the parliament. The draft law includes 35 articles divided into six chapters including the label, definition, establishment and the company's goals, functions, powers, capital, sources of funding, financial system and administration, and the company's dissolution as well as the concluding provisions.On another hand, the caretaker government, led by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, also approved the regulations of Arab and foreign non-government organizations (NGOs) working in Yemen, and directed to complete legal procedures for the regulations' issuance.The approval of the regulations aims to regulate and facilitate the work of the organizations in the framework of social needs and in accordance with the national plans and programs.The regulations identifies a set of commitments to be met by the organization wants to work in Yemen, most notably the emphasis on respect for sovereignty of the country and the provisions of the Constitution ,laws, regulations, customs and traditions.
