USAID to support society development in Abyan with $ 10 mln

An expanded-meeting was held here on Sunday, chaired by Secretary-General of local council in Abyan province Nasser al-Fadhli.
The meeting stressed the speed of preparing studies of projects to improve living standards of society within the assistance to be provided by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which is estimated at USD 10 million. Al-Fadhli hailed the support provided by the U.S. Agency to improve the living standard of the local societies. He affirmed the need to focus on the urgent and necessary projects which provide job opportunities for youth in the local societies and rural areas, as well as the other sustainable development projects.
