Secretary General of Aden Local Council Abdul-Karim Shaif discussed here on Sunday with Director of the UNHCR's Office in Aden Bashir Khan the Somali refugees' conditions in the province. During their meeting, Shaif affirmed the support of the governorate for the UNHCR tasks in order to improve the refugees' situation and provid humanitarian services for them. Yemen is holding a big burden as a result of the flow of refugees and its contribution in alleviating the refugees' suffering, he added.In return, the UNHCR director expressed his satisfaction upon the support offered by Aden governorate for Somali refugees as well as facilities given to the UNHCR to carry out its humanitarian and social programs.
