Health Sciences Institute in Hadramout Governorate today celebrated the graduation of two batches of Community Midwives, 49 graduates..
. This coincide with the fifty seventh anniversary since the institute established. The program was funded by the Social Development Fund in Mukalla and Oxfam organization.They came from Al-reidah, gusiar and Hajr Districts The ceremony was attended by Hadhramaut Undersecretary for coastal districts Affairs Abdullah Awadh Hatem. He congratulated the Institute for its 57th anniversary since it was for its established as well as for the great successes it has achieved during its career in the provision of health and personnel training. The Undersecretary called on the graduates to take advantge the knowlege and skills they received in family planning and protection of pregnant mothers during and after pregnancy. They have to put into application what they learnt, in their areas between them and their needed families so as relief them of many of the difficulties and problems facing thier community in these remote areas he expressed local authority readiness to provide all aspects of support to the Institute so that it could perform out its duty to the fulles
