Governor of Hadhramout Khalid Saeed Al-dein today visited Broom Electricity project. He was briefed on the final process going at the site including the construction of two major that will receive electric power each one at a
capacity of which 10 MW, ground cables, high pressure supply lines
and the construction of a transferring station of a capability 1 MW.. The project costs about $ 10 million and is being funded by the Government. The Governor listned to full details and explanation from Power institution Director-General / l branch -regions coast of Hadramout Engineer/Mubarak Al-Tamimi and project contractor Saleh Faraj Bin Suweidan about the work carried out currently at the project site. And, the process of connecting terrestrial cables addressing some of the technical aspects and problems as an urgent matter that concerns the supply of floor cables from main station at Ibn Sinaa zone to the station in the supply station in Broom. He urged on everyone to redouble the efforts to complete all work in this project, which is expected to finish during the next few weeks.. He was accompanied on this visit by the Assistant Undersecretary coastal affairs, Nasser Salim Bal-beheith and Services Committee Chairman in the Local Council Mohammed bin Faris Faris, Broom Mayfa'a District Directorate-General Salim Ahmed Ba-nakhar and several other officials..
