An expanded meeting held today Wednesday, 6 / April 2011 in Seiyoun District to discuss education progress in schools. It brought together Local Council Members of Seiyoun district, Zones's
Chief, school principals and parents board heads in Seiyoun district
schools totaling (53) between primary, secondary and kindergarten. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Salem Yislam Bin Sherman Seiyoun District
Director-General / local council president. The meeting discussed
situation of schools and issues relating to the functioning of the
educational process.District Director-General / local council president
praised the careful process followed by principals in taking
interest on Education side and the conduct of the studies in light of
the political conditions experienced by our country. For his part, Mr. Mohamed Awadh Al-Ameri, Seiyoun Distict Director of Education reviewed the functions, conditions of the educational process in schools and those in which studies stopped due to teachers striking to demand thier rights. He praising government effort throgh working on the disbursement of dues in the near future Inshallah. The meeting was attended by Major / Hussein's Musharraf, Seiyoun District Security Director. The participants comments, observations and suggestions were noted down. The discussion was extensive and the meeting came out with a number of conclusions, including: 1 Each school Management has to hold a meeting tomorrow Thursday, 7 April in the presence of local council member and head of zone. 2 Studies shall resume in stalled schools on Saturday, 9 April on a regular basis
