Governor of Hadramout Khalid Saeed Al-deini today paid a visit to Mukalla International Airport.
He was observed activities and Airport services services. rendered to passengers through domestic and international airlines as well as the efforts being made in the implementation to rehabilitate the airport, a project funded by the World Bank at a cost of $ 6 million. Aldeini visited many several of the airport facilities and was briefed by the Airport Director-General Engineer /Abdallah Saleh Al-Shabibi fully explaining the various activities and development plans for the airport. Also the efforts made by the General Authority for Meteorology and Civil Aviation and the continued interest of upgrading aspects of Aviation services, administrative regulations, air traffic control and meteorology, as well as services, airport ground and shipping Govenor Al-deini expressed the willingness of the local authority to provide facilities, including contribution of enhancing the activity of the airport and improve services. The aiport as one of the various facilities and interfaces that is vital and essential in the province, so that it could improve its services and accommodate the growing tourism influx and investment.
