Yemen's foreign currency reserves increased to $ 8.2 billion till last June, according to an economic report. The
report mentioned that the foreign assets of the Central Bank of Yemen
rose at the end of 2008 to YR 1652.9 billion to cover about 12 months
of imports. The exported currency decreased to YR 416.7 billion in June compared with YR 418.4 billion in May 2008.
