Engineer / Saad Awwad Socotri ,Minister of Electricity, visited the Directorate of Amed on Sunday 24/8/2008, accompanied by MP Sheikh /Mboukot Ben Yeslem and Hassan Alamoudi local council member.
Mubarak bin Shamlan - Director General of the Directorate, received the Minister where the latter met with Local council and Executive Office members. His Excellency stressed on the implementation of Mr President's directives to link the Directorate to the Wadi station.
An agreement was signed with Engineer / Fuad Wakd - Director General of valley Electricity to link the Directorate to the valley station urgently.
