Governor meets with chamber officials

Mr Salim Ahmed Alkhanbashi , governor of Hadramout province,met
yesterday evening with the chairman of board of directors of Hadhramaut
Chamber of Commerce and Industry alongside Sheikh Abdullah Ahmad Bakshan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemen fish and the Yemen Arab cement industry. At the meeting ,the Governor emphasized the importance of the role played by the Chamber of Commerce in moving the economic and commercial activity and investment in Hadramaut.Calling for continued contribution in various projects including micro-enterprises for people with limited income to absorb unemployment and create new job opportunities for young people. Affirming the support of the local authority to preserve ideas , visions and directions of the chamber so as to revive the movement of trade, investment and economic performance. Calling on chamber of commerce and businessmen to ensure the delivery of supply commodities to the citizens with reasonable prices and control of shops in relation to this matter together with the office of Industry and Trade, and especially the holy month at the door, calling on the leadership of the Chamber and all affiliates to look at their poor and needy brothers of the eight categories of Zakat, pointing out that our true religion always call to brotherhood and mutual assistance among Muslims, particularly in this holy month of Ramadan. For his part, chairman of the chamber expressed his appreciation to the governor through this initiative saying that the chamber will always be with state and government and citizens and what would activate the principle of partnership and serving the country in this vital sector. The meeting was attended by Mr Salim Saleh Bin Abdel Haq - Director General of the Directorate of Mukalla city and a number of other officials.
