UAE company to invest in Hadhramaut

The UAE Noel Trade International announced its intention to invest in Yemen in several areas in partnership with ten other Gulf companies, in the light of the encouraging investment climate and promising opportunities and its investment law which offers guarantees and large facilities to investors.
during his meeting today in Al-Mukalla, Mr Omar Salem Obaid, company representitive,informed governor of Hadramout Salim Ahmed Alkhanbashi about the company's desire of inaugurating its first investment projects in Yemen by establishing projects in the province of Hadramout in the the fields of tourism, hotels and plants for seawater desalination and wastewater treatment, as well as investment in Electricity sector and the adoption of Dhaba commercial port project.
For his part, Mr govenor welcomed the UAE and Gulf investments in Yemen in general and in Hadhramaut in particular , stressing that it will receive all the support and encouragement and all the facilities will be given in accordance with the law to ensure that they are to achieve the desired success.
He further refered to the many and varied investment opportunities in the province and the big economic feasibility of exploitation. Considering the growing investment flows from the Gulf towards Yemen is a fruit of the efforts of the reforms adopted by the government to further improve the investment environment and a reflection of the rapid evolution of the relations of fraternal cooperation between Yemen and the GCC states.
