Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qarbi described on Wednesday the 22nd Arab summit, concluded recently in Libya, as "successful." Upon arrival after participation in the summit, al-Qirbi told Saba that "the Arab summit was successful as it dealt with many challenges facing the Arab nation and was keen to come out with treatments serving the joint Arab work topped by forming a committee to study mechanisms of activating the Arab joint work as suggested by Yemen initiative."He also added that the summit studied the special decision over solving inter-Arab disputes presented by Syria as well as the Palestinian issue.President Ali Abdullah Saleh meetings with leaders of Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Syria focused on activating the common Arab work and reinforcing the bilateral relations between Yemen and each of their countries, al-Qibri concluded.
