Turkey seeks for increasing scholarships in Yemen

Yemen and Turkey discussed here on Sunday the possibility to increase the number of the scholarships offered by Yemen to Turkish students. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Saleh Ba-Sura reviewed with the Turkish ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Donamaz the significance of exchanging visits between the teaching staffs in the Yemeni and Turkish universities and taking part in academic events in both countries.The meeting touched on the possibility of holding a conference in Sana'a on the Yemeni-Turkish relationship, particularly in the Ottoman Empire.Ba-Sura and Donamaz also discussed the arrangements of the visit to be paid by Deputy Higher Education Minister Mohammed Mutahar to Turkey on Monday to discus educational and cultural cooperation with Turkey.
