Specialized Penal Court of Hadhramout Province sitting in Mukalla today started its first trial for smugglers of drugs into the land of Yemen through the sea. The eight accused are from different nationalities, Kenyans, Tanzanian, Somali and Yemeni.
The court heard statements from the accused, at the same explaining and clarifying the quality and seriousness of the drug on humans, society. It approved the continuation of the trial on the twentieth of next month (April) as well as destroying the material that was seized in the next week
