Save the Children Organization started on Monday
courses on living opportunities under the Youth Empowerment Program in Aden..
The
program, funded by the USAID in cooperation with Aden's Local Council and partner CSOs, aims
to train 100 young persons and build their professional capacities through
carrying out strategic plans for their future projects. The one-month program includes lectures about marketing management, selling
skills, art of dealing with costumers and developing the publicrelations, and
a course on humanitarian sources and finance. In the opening ceremony, Secretary General of Local Council Abdul-Karim Shayef
addressed the importance of the program's role which targets youth who have an
effect in different public fields. He briefed that the Local Council approved a sum of money to help the youth to
employ their creativity and improve their livelihood,voicing his adherence to
involve the young people in the process of economic development. For his part, the program's coordinator Mueen Salam presented an explanation on
