General Authority Chief, for regulating road transport Mr. Issam Shaker, said that the agency is working in coordination with the governorate of Hadhramout and stakeholders to launch Alwadiah upcountry border Post that connects our country with Saudi Arabia.
The preparation is in its final stage of completion, as well as other services including equipment for the infrastructure of roads, electricity, water that needed by the economic zone project in Al-waduaih border post.He emphasized on the readiness of the Authority in modernizing and developing the campus on the Al-twaal border post at a cost of two billion riyals as well as to open and open the way for tourism and industrial investments so as to be model one that offers all the services from economy, tourism, trade and is a tributary of development.
In his interview with the Yemen News Agency (SABA) the Authority chairman touched on Commission's functions and powers.and also on road transport regulations
