Hadramout  province for the valley and the desert Mr Ahmad Jneid Aljunied discussed a report on improving the main cities of the Hadramawt Valley in 2007 by the Public Works and roads offices , the branch of the General Authority for land and space, Physical Planning and Public works  and local hygiene and improvement  Fund of Hadramout valley and desert.

 Which indicated that the directorates of Hadramout valley has witnessed  during the year 2007 a major improvements to improve the beautification of streets and roads and entrances and maintain the housing schemes and the increasing afforestation work in islands and the backs of the main streets as well as the lighting of the streets and Alleyways of the internal and public squares and archaeological sites and squares of mosques  and implementation of many projects of paving stones for many of the sites which brought to these beautiful cities beauty and attractiveness where the contracts signed for the first half of the year in 2007',included a draft of which (6 projects) cabinet approved projects within the local authority and (4 projects) begun working on it and not to be adopted and (3 Central Projects) in the area of paving an area of one million and seven hundred and eighty-five thousand and forty-four square meters of the total value of four billion  and six hundred and and fifty five million, one hundred  sixty four thousand and four hundred and fifty-eight riyals, were resurfacing eight hundred and thirty four thousand, forty two .square metre (47% ) Of the area covered by contracts.

In the lighting hit by the contracts signed ,eight contracts cost (four billion ,six hundred and seventy  three million, five hundred and twenty nine thousand and eight hundred and eighty-nine Ryal) in the area of afforestation projects approved of which five projects, including one project within the investment program and three projects approved by the ministry twithin the budget of the  local authority and one project outsideThe draft .budget with a cost of (789) million riyals distributed among directorates Trym ,Shibam Qatin ,Houra, Wadi Alaeen.

It also discussed  two reports about the directorates of  Shibam and Rakhiah and also discussed an oral report on the activity of the Foundation for Public Electricity in Hadramout valley areas. The members listened to  the latest resolutions of the Council of the local province of Hadramout in the last session held last April, inwhich the members of the Executive Office have enriched these  reports with a number of observations and .opinions aimed actively  to upgrade and improve the work in these facilities and government institutions and improve services to citizens .
