General Investment Authority (GIA) has registered about 13 investment projects in Ibb governorate during 2009 at a cost of over YR 1.4 billion.Director General of GIA branch in IBB Ahmed al-Mujahed told the weekly 26 September that the projects have already obtained the licenses from the authority, noting that the registered projects are in several fields.

The investment projects implemented in the governorate in the last years are 138 ones amounting to over YR 15 billion, al-Mujahed said.He pointed out that the authority has registered about 184 projects during 1992 � 2009 costing over YR 29 billion.FM to brief US officials on developments in Yemen
