Executive Director of al-Baraka Bank in Bahrain Mohammed Issa al-Matawah has left Sana'a after a few-day visit to Yemen.
The visit aimed to get acquaintance with the financial and banking systems in the executive administrations in the traditional and Islamic banks in Yemen for the purpose of establishing bilateral relations between al-Baraka Banking Group and Yemeni banks, al-Matawah said.
During the visit, he has met with Governor of Central Bank of Yemen (CBY), who briefed him on the steps that are taken by the CBY in banking and financial investment areas in the country, he added.Al-Matawah said that he would report everything to the Baraka Banking Group Director Board to take the appropriate steps to work on activating bilateral cooperation in the banking field
