A Chinese state economic delegation, led by governor of Supervision Ministry,
board chairman of Stone Group Company, is currently studying economic and investment cooperation with Yemen in areas of mining, information technology and health products as well as investment in industrial areas, energy, oil and tourism.
Premier Ali Mujawar held Sunday a meeting with the Chinese delegation and welcomed the sought after Chinese investments in Yemen of all domains, particularly in the field of mining. He made it clear that the Yemeni government is importantly interested in developing mining sector through paving the way for investors, pointing out to the encouraging investment procedures that Yemen adopts.
The Stone Group Company head said that his company has signed three agreements with Geological Survey Authority on mining in a number of areas, affirming that the success of these agreements would motivate the company for further investments and strengthen the Yemeni-Chinese commercial cooperation ties as well.
