Russia confirms support Yemen against terrorism

Russia has confirmed its support for Yemen's efforts against terrorism, rebellion and any illegal acts.During his meeting with the Yemeni ambassador to Russia Mohammed al-Hilali, the Russian Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry Sergei Vershinin hailed the Yemeni steps and success in this regard.
"Russia is with a strong Yemen, which assists in achieving the regional and international security", the Russian official said.He voiced his country keenness on keeping on its cooperation with Yemen in combating terrorism and organized crime, accentuating the Yemen's right to protect its security and safeguard its lands.For his part, al-Hilali expressed Yemeni appreciation of the Russian support.He also condemned all the terrorist acts that targeted innocent citizens in Russia.
Moreover, the meeting discussed the arrangements for the expectant visit of the first deputy of the Russian Foreign Minister to Yemen early in 2010 in addition to reviewing the Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations and ways to boost them in various fields
