UAE Red Crescent delegation leaves Sana'a

The UAE Red Crescent Society delegation led by Chairman of board of directors Ahmed al-Mazrouei left Sana'a on Sunday after a several-day visit to the country.
During the visit, the delegation opened and laid foundation stone for a number of humanitarian projects presented by the UAE to support Yemeni people to overcome the effects of the natural disasters and other disasters they have suffered.Speaking to Saba, al-Mazrouei said that the current cooperation between the UAE Red Crescent and all Yemeni concerned authorities aims to building developmental projects and delivering aid to poor people and orphans in Yemen.The support offered by the UAE Red Crescent Society comes on the directives of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zaid Al Nayan and in full coordination with the Yemeni leadership, al-Mazrouei added.The UAE official praised the level of fruitful cooperation between the UAE Red Crescent Society and Al-Saleh Social Foundation for Development.It is worthy to mention that Mukalla city in Hadramout province witnessed on Saturday laying foundation stone for building 200 residential units within the project of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zaid Al Nahyan City for flood-affected people in the province.
