Yemen and Egypt singed Wednesday an establishment contract of an
engineering services company for electricity and energy with a capital
of $5 million.
The contract signing was attended by Minister of Electricity and Energy Mustafa Bahran and Egyptian counterpart Hasan Unis.
This company comes within the framework of activating cooperation relations between the two countries in areas of electricity and energy so as to serve common interests.
It would offer engineering and consultations services in field of electricity such as benefit studies of related projects, choosing suitable locations, studying environmental effects and preparing technical standards, in addition to administering projects and supervising works of implementation.
The company would also carry out training and qualification programs and control quality, administration, operation and maintenance of electricity and energy work places.
