Military and security units have continued for the third consecutive day their operation of hunting down Houthi terrorist sleeping cells in the old city of Saada , north Yemen.
First Interior Undersecretary, General Mohammed Abdullah al-Qawsi said Thursday that 3 weapon and munitions depots belonging to the terrorists were destroyed in old city of Saada and grip is tightened on their remaining in some residential quarters. He affirmed that most of those elements positions have become under control.26 September weekly has quoted local sources ass saying that that armed forces and security men in Saada axis destroyed three weapon depots in Jamima and Al-Majazin areas in Mran and dealt fierce hit to the Houthi elements of terror and sabotage in Al-Rafaf area where many of them were killed or wounded. They have also destroyed one terrorist’s hideout south of Mahdha junction and many of terrorists were killed in engagements in Al-Khayan area.Armed forces and security troops have also aborted infiltration attempts by terrorist elements into forward positions in Anban and the White Mountains , inflicting heavy losses on those elements and forced the to escape.Military units in Sufyan axis destroyed a weapon and explosives depot for the terrorists in the area of Al-Hira. Armed forces men also foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists, putting on woman clothes, near the ar3ea of Qarn AL-Damam and destroyed one vehicle carrying ammunition in the same area.In the axis of Al-Malahidh , armed forces and security units destroyed many of the terrorists hideouts and inflicted on he terrorist elements heavy losses in men and ammunition in areas of Qasab valley, Al-Sabakhana, Al-Marasa, Thueib , Al-Khazan Mountain , Al-Hanan heights and slopes of Thueib.On the other hand security apparatuses in Saada city captured five terrorist elements, among them terrorists Ahmed Yahya Abdullah al-Akam and Musad Anidh al-Dhabyani and seized in their possession weapons, leaflets and tapes calling for fighting against army and security troops.
