Jackie Weatherspoon, the U.S. member of the state committee "Obama for Women", has left here after a few-day visit to Yemen.
During her visit, the U.S official taken part in a workshop on promoting women's political participation through dialog which held on 7-9 December in Sana'a.The workshop was organized by the Yemeni Women Union and the Club of Madrid in collaboration with the National Organization for Community Development.The participants discussed the best ways to enable women to contribute to decision making and reach Parliament and other governmental institutions.
