Yemen, UAE hold talks over flood victims support

Minister of Public Works and Roads Omar al-Kurshomi held talks on Monday with the UAE Red Crescent delegation, headed by Mohammed al-Qumzi, over the current steps to implement Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid residential project in Hadramout governorate as a support for the victims of floods. The meeting also shed lights on the difficulties and challenges facing the implementation of the project and possible means to easy those pitfalls.The minister noted that locations for 750 residential units have been submitted and the rest of the locations will be outlined during the next two weeks, affirming that this project embodies the depth of the Yemeni-UAE strong relations.For his part, the UAE Red Crescent official affirmed the strong ties between Yemen and the UAE peoples, noting concern of the UAE to achieve this project to alleviate sufferings of the victims.
